It seems for this year or recently they upgraded the SF-1000D to have the same diodes as the SF1000. It says on there website as well that it has the LM301B diodes instead of the LM301D diodes.

110% DISAGREE!!!
I have a 2022 version SE5000 from Spider Farmer which allows the driver to be remotely mounted, and in addition to the push/pull fans, I’ve had to actually add a chiller to my grow tent. I find that even the smaller, 100W lights require the addition of active cooling.
I’ve added water blocks to the lights, but haven’t yet plumbed them in to the cooling lines because I am awaiting my current crop to be ready for harvest then I can take the tents offline to finish the plumbing. I do assure you that active cooling is needed – at least for a 4×3 tent if I want to run full brightness – and with wanting a yield of over a pound per plant, I do want to run full brightness with CO2 supplementation.
I specifically upgraded to the light bars to add active cooling more easily because every high wattage integrated unit I’ve found has been near impossible to keep the tent cool enough, and even the 100W integrated units cause the tent to overheat – unless I want the ACInfinity fans running at full speed, in which case I may as well not use CO2 supplementation as it would all be vented out immediately.

Sorry, I didn’t realize you had such horrible problems managing your ambient temps. I don’t have any issues with the 100W light types shown in this video. I don’t need any extra cooling, not even fans, and the lights definitely don’t require it if you’re keeping ambient temps in check.
But clearly, your specific usage situation requires additional management. A 480W light is going to throw way more BTUs than a 100W light. The ones shown in this vid are a totally different class than your SE5000.

Please, would you do a test of the GeekLights models in the 480/500 watts Region? Although they Alibaba “brands”, I’ve seen tests from a fixture called geekbeast 480 and the light spread was the best of all tested ones.

Hello sir , I recently buyed a spiderfarmer sf 4000 so I thought but it is an RoHS RX G4000 light . I couldn’t find much on the internet about it but it seems to be a Australian company . Should I send it back our keep it ? It’s cheaper then the spiderfarmer but almost the same specs. It has the meanwell driversXLG 240 H- AB 2x Samsung leds LM 301 B /H Osram Red 660 nm leds and 440 w .
