Good documentation of a bench build and sketch – the only nagging nitpicky thing that was distracting was pronunciation of pilaster… ( https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/pilaster ) first syllable is more of a “peh” than a “peye” – sorry for even commenting on it, it just caught my ear like fingernails on a chalkboard.

    I really do like the architectural detail videos from various building styles. Keep them coming!

  2. always weirds me out who down Votes these videos, whats wrong with it? Does he not have enough pep on his step? was his hair combed way too pristine? was there not enough colorful things in the background?

  3. Love this lovely, quiet video explaining the detail and thought on how to construct this pilaster. I’ll never, ever build one but if I ever lived in a house that required one, I’d know how it might be put together to make sure it was done with this level of care and precision. BTW: thanks for not adding head-banging background music that so many bloggers feel is necessary. It’s not.
