I just tried the stumpy nubs discount code for Ridge carbide for my 2nd table saw blade. What I found that the discount code is good for one purchase.

I will sign up as soon as I get my contractor table saw set up. I am trying to decide what I am going to do about an Outfeed table. Never used a table saw before outside my shop class a million years ago. 🙂

I like the idea of using half inch MDF for the panels. I’ve been using quarter inch-ish plywood, but it seems flimsy.

Watch this video before I built some bathroom cabinets for my neighbor.
Used Alder frames and 1/2 ” birch for faces. Very easy built 5 door and 3 drawer fronts. They loved the. And Iiked the simplicity of the build . Thanks again
Dustin Clark
that’s a new way for me to cut the MDF, excellent idea

Great Video !
Quick question though I’ve always thought it good practice to let the panels float in the grooves rather than glue them in, is this because your using MDF and it doesn’t expand and contract like wood ?
Stumpy Nubs
Yes, MDF doesn’t move like solid wood.

Would a router table with two bits do the same much quicker?

The old cabinet doors had wood inserts. I had them removed and want them replaced with glass. The opening was made different from the way you make it for the glass. How should it be done.

I’m sure it’s been ask, but how much overhang do you want on your door opening?

Hello. Great video!
I need to make cabinet doors for my kitchen cabinets. I was wondering if birch would be a good choice for lower cabinet doors? My cabinets are made from birch for the boxes and popular on the fronts of my cabinets. My upper cabinets, I’m wanting to add a frosted glass because we have an extremely small kitchen 11’x10′. The cabinet doors for glass would be a little different process from making the grooves insert the styles and rails, right? It would be best to do that on the back incase of breakage but how deep would you do the groove and what to use to hole the glass in so it doesn’t rattle? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Great video thanks! Would you use this type of joint or a mortis tenon for a exterior shutter?
