I once killed A man with my shoe
@Barb Rogers Little Ms. SUNBURN no, I don’t think you understand the point of what he means. The point is that you need to stray away from boring and forgetful graphic design. While in the short run it might be pleasing to everyone, everybody will end up forgetting it because of the formula it follows and as he says “you’re playing it much too safe”. He is trying to stray away from that formulaic look. While not everybody will enjoy that style, that design will stick with everybody.
If you were to really compare graphic design to pizza it would be more like if a shop only sold cheese and pepperoni pizza because it pleases everybody and they were afraid of venturing out and exploring new creative flavors because they didn’t want people to dislike it. Sure, some people may not like the creative flavors, but to the people who do, they will remember it and go back to the shop for more. A large part of graphic design is to be memorable.

@I once killed A man with my shoe “The point is that you need to stray away from boring and forgetful graphic design.” Nothing in my statement says to play it safe and stick with an old formula , you assume too much.
I once killed A man with my shoe
@Barb Rogers Little Ms. SUNBURN his whole quote is “if everybody loves your work, you’re playing it much too safe”. I’m not saying _you_ think that playing it safe and sticking to a formula is a good thing, I’m explaining to you what he _meant_ when he said “you need some people not liking your work”.
SemiObsessive
It’s mad he’s doing this, he’s amazing. So totally going to *legally* get it.
Ignacio Cortorreal
all first five seconds should be memorable
Sad Nigga
yeah, probably best not to listen to someone who uses the line “if people like your work, you’re doing it wrong”
he sounds like a Lucasfilm employee
jason dads
its “if everyone likes your work, you’re playing much too safe”
Max Power

Anybody trying to be in a group chat of 17-23 year olds on Instagram📲❓Entrepreneurs, creatives, freelancers, students and so on and so fourth❓💵Maybe make connections🌐and overall meet people you can relate with from different upbringings👥. I’ve tried this months ago but we became inactive and never formed true relationships anyway(business and personal wise specifically)➕I’m trying to learn more myself when it comes to financial literacy and some strangers probably know things I know nothing of and vice versa🤷🔌No ignorant people or weirdos tho. Good vibes🔋
