i hit 2000 oz of silver and it started getting boring for me, also its just too much size, too much weight and volume, its hard to move so i switched to only stacking gold. the reward is so much small but seeing a handful of gold equal my entire silver stack is pretty staggering. i love gold buffalos and maples the best. Gold eagle’s off color mixture bothers me mentally. The Perth gold bars are cool too, feels like pirate treasure!

I’ve been stacking for about 2.5 years and I’m at 250 Troy ounces. My new goal is to hit 500oz by end of next year. My ultimate goal is to have 1 ton of silver (29,166.7 troy ounces) but that’s going to take some serious stacking 😅
You are missing Dave Ramseys point for 1000 USD cash reserve.
This reserve needs to be pure liquid for emergenies while you are paying off your debt. Silver is not liquid like cash, so I would say that 1000 USD in cash is a must to have before 1000 USD in silver. But like you say, you can save up for both! (btw. Dave Ramsey dont support neither silver or gold stacking).
I have quite a few different types/weights of silver..from 1 oz rounds to 5.5 oz bars …American Eagles,Maple Leaf’s,Britannia ‘s and Krugerrand in double digit amounts.

My problem with silver and I own a lot, is it’s not going anywhere. It really hasn’t gone up much in 10 years. Adds on tv say silver is rare, that’s a bold face lie silver isn’t that rare or it would be worth a lot more. The problem is gold is almost $1800 an ounce so silver should really be $50 an ounce but it’s not. This tells me it’s being manipulated. I’m keeping my silver but I’m not buying anymore. Gold seems like a Better investment.
