Have you seen our reviews of the Mercedes RP Rebel and RP Rebellion?

Too long for a parking space and too tall for a car park barrier 🙁
MotorhomeCampervan
The Fords are always a bit taller than a VW. As for length, you should still be able to fit it in many supermarket bays but probably not street parking bays – that’s always the compromise with a LWB, but if you want the extra space and loo…
Peter Watson
under the new DVLA rules would vans like the nugget no longer be classed as campervans as they are not high tops ?
MotorhomeCampervan
As a Ford product with Whole Vehicle Type Approval, it should be registered as a motor caravan
Talorc MacAllan
Na its a Ford , German cars and vans are far superior.
MotorhomeCampervan
OK, the Transit is made in Turkey but what is really German these days? The Crafter is made in Poland… These Fords drive really well, too.

Sorry, I’ve never got the idea of campers. £70K! or £20K for any usable second hand camper. So, you need a second car, MOT’s , road tax, maintenance. Then terrible fuel economy when you’re at your destination. What does this all have over a £4K caravan and an economical car? This is not a wind up, just asking.
MotorhomeCampervan
The whole point is that you don’t need a second car with a camper like this. It’s a great daily driver. MPG is no worse than most SUVs and much better than a car towing a caravan. Then, when you go out from your campsite, you take all your facilities with you, so you don’t need to buy cafe food and expensive takeaway coffees. Converted now?
AbbersJ
@MotorhomeCampervan Nope. You’ve just justified a £8k lightweight caravan and an economical car at £15k. Push the boat out and buy an electric car, the caravan option is always going to be more flexible, cost effective and economic both in running costs and initial purchase price. (In my view anyway).

About time! I want one!dont like the inside setup, just the van roof and double sliding doors

A very comprehensive review, delivered in an easy to watch style. Thanks

Much appreciated!

The big problem with cab seats being lounge seats is you utterly destroy them by sitting on them all day, driving and then in the evening. Really poor design, far better designs and use of space without a massive heavy bench seat like that.
MotorhomeCampervan
Nearly all campervans use the cab seats when camping, surely it would be a massive waste of space not to? And I have never heard of them being “destroyed” – use will be much lighter than in a commercial van doing 50,000 miles a year

Its a camper, but its also a truck/van . These are medium/long term purchases and need to be evaluated a bit different.
Buy whatever model suits you, but avoid super complicated engines that are expensive to repair.
The more electronics, bells and whistles, the higher the repair bill.
If the van becomes unusable then so does the camper. Talk to a mechanic before you purchase.

Good car but it`s so boring to listen to this men

Not bad, would make a great solo camper or for a couple, that back seat that splits it all up would have to go though and for me ruins it slightly, well more than slightly lol
MotorhomeCampervan
It’s the back seat – making it a five-seater car in the week – that will be the USP for many buyers. There are plenty of other options if you want a true solo camper

Would the chassis take a motorbike carrier? 150-200kg?
MotorhomeCampervan
That might be possible but you could run out of payload
