Famous writer Stephen King goes deep into the well of his creativity in this spellbinding unique about a seventeen-year-old kid who acquires the secrets to a parallel world where excellent and wicked are at war, and the stakes might not be greater– for their world or ours.

Charlie Reade appears like a routine high school kid, terrific at baseball and football, a good trainee. However he brings a heavy load. His mommy was eliminated in a hit-and-run mishap when he was 10, and sorrow drove his daddy to consume. Charlie discovered how to look after himself– and his daddy. Then, when Charlie is seventeen, he fulfills Howard Bowditch, a recluse with a huge pet dog in a huge home at the top of a huge hill. In the yard is a locked shed from which weird noises emerge, as if some animal is attempting to get away. When Mr. Bowditch passes away, he leaves Charlie your house, an enormous quantity of gold, a cassette tape narrating that is difficult to think, and an obligation far too enormous for a young boy to shoulder.

Since within the shed is a website to another world– one whose citizens remain in danger and whose monstrous leaders might damage their own world, and ours. In this parallel universe, where 2 moons race throughout the sky, and the grand towers of a vast palace pierce the clouds, there are banished princesses and princes who suffer dreadful penalties; there are dungeons; there are video games in which males and females should combat each other to the death for the amusement of the “Fair One.” And there is a magic sundial that can reverse time.

A story as old as misconception, and as shocking and renowned as the rest of King’s work, Fairy Tale has to do with a normal man pushed into the hero’s function by scenario, and it is both stunningly suspenseful and rewarding.
