Ranking: 4 out of 5.

I believed this was such an enjoyable retelling for Marie Antoinette. I enjoyed the historic realities that were woven into the story and upgraded to have a futuristic feel. In this reimagined story, Marie Antoinette is weding into a royal household and a nation filled with chaos.

The author did a fantastic task of sticking to the significant circumstances and problems occurring in the OG Marie’s life. I discovered myself getting actually stressed as we got closer and closer to that horrible beheading. I need to state, Allyson did a fantastic task with the ending … no spoilers! However I mored than happy with the whole story and the conclude.

This is a best read for YA book-lovers who have some interest in historic figures!
