I tried carbamide peroxide with custom trays for 7 days every night unfortunatley my lower teeth got whitened only in 2/3 and upper in 1/2 (closer to gum – the more yellow) my dentist said it’s because i have thick enamel and nothing can be do about it..

Yes and no. Its not a lie. The Light definitely heats up the bleach (see that they said “amplify”), but it doesn’t actually “activate” it. Its marketing gimmicks like I said. Bottom line is that it does not make it more effective.

Just ask if they make good custom whitening trays. Most make the trays but the quality varies a lot.

Headed to my dentist tomorrow for a cleaning then later whitening I will ask for trays I had her 10 yrs ago do in office .ade my teeth sensitive and didnt last long..I am a coffee drinker…..grr.
I now live on former coffee finca land in thenGuatemala highlands many of my Guatemalam friemds own coffee I think they would stone me if I gave up coffee. I have given up cigarettes 40 yrs ago, sugar sodas 30 yrs ago, diet cola 10 yrs ago, sugar in my diet up and down for years but now almost all is Splenda, a year ago all breads, yada yada yada am an elder female watching my weight so you know the drill…if I give up coffee I might as well live on protein and water…..now someone is going to tell me to give up animal protein ., I just know it.

Does it put a layer on the teeth like hair dye, so it only covers the teeth or does it actually change the color of the teeth 🤔?

It actually changes the color. It oxidizes the chromatic component of tooth structure and ultimately lightens the shade, somewhat like bleaching does to color compounds in clothing.
